Dear Prospective Intern
To assist inlexso in selecting interns when the need arises, this form may be used to identify candidates to be interviewed. Not all applicants will be interviewed. Complete this form accurately and legibly.
Interns who are selected for interviews will be requested to furnish additional certified information.
All information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality & will not be disclosed or used for any other purpose than to assess the suitability of a person, except in so far as it may be required & permitted by law. (See Inlexso’s Privacy Statement (https://inlexso.co.za).)
This information will only be taken into account if it directly relates to the requirements of the Internship.
Requirements:
- Only graduates or final year students in applicable degrees wishing to apply for an internship within inlexso should complete this form (i.e., LLB, LLM or BCom(Law)/ BA(Law) with LLB)
- Completed Articles of clerkship (“Law articles”) or admission as an attorney is not a pre-requisite. (Please note that you cannot do your law articles through inlexso.)

- Good time management skills & operating well in a high-pressure environment
- Clear & effective verbal & written communication in English
- Dedication
- Initiative/ pro-active
- Information gathering, problem analysis and solving skills & attention to detail
- Eager to learn & accept new challenges
- Able to work both independently & as an integral part of a team
- Results driven, able to achieve work goals
- Commercial, proactive and business-like mind-set
- A good grasp of Microsoft Office applications
- Risk sensitivity and the ability to know when to escalate an issue
Responsibilities:
- Do research on various topics
- Providing support across Inlexso’s legal service lines
- Work under supervision of a line manager and/ or senior consultant
- Willingness to rotate within inlexso
- Uphold ethics & values & act with integrity
- Write clearly & succinctly
- Set clear objectives & plan activities
How are internships awarded?
- Internship are awarded according to academic merit, to historically disadvantaged individuals (“HDI’s) and current availability in inlexso.
- Final selections are made by management
